Honda Motorcycles
Honda has always been popular for its reliable power equipment, engines, sporty cars, and of course, motorcycles. It has been in the business since 1949, with the Dream D-type model, which featured a 98cc air-cooled engine, being its first mass-produced product. This was a few years after Soichiro Honda founded the company in 1946. Honda then reportedly produced 3 million bikes annually by 1982 and garnered sales successes in the United States and other countries.
Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI), the official local distributor of Honda motorcycles, touts itself to be the number one motorcycle manufacturer in the country. The brand entered the local market in 1964, and today, its manufacturing plant stands on a 20-hectare plant in Batangas where their products and processes are designed to put safe, efficient, economical, and environment-friendly technology at the service of people and the community.
Honda’s lineup is composed of its own version of scooters, sports bikes, underbone, and business bikes. The lineup has the BeAT, the CRF range, XRM, and the TMX, respectively. All of the bikes promise to bring joy and satisfaction to their users.
HPI also continues to educate riders through the Honda Safety Driving Center, the first motorcycle riding school in the country. It offers comprehensive knowledge of intelligent, safe, responsible riding, and on the basics of motorcycle maintenance.
